Jill AND Mary

Jillian Shennessy (born 25th November in 1968) is a Canadian artist, actress and vocalist that made waves on American television. She was a star in American TV series Law & Order, where she portrayed prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh over six seasons. Hennessy has also showcased her acting prowess in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the indie films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, where she also flexed her writing and co-directing muscles. Hennessy kickstarted her acting career with her sister in 1988 playing twin call girls in Dead Ringers. In 1990, she appeared as a guest on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved into science-fiction and was the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The following year, she was appointed the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. Parker appeared in movies and series like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels In America and RED Fried Green Tomatoes for which she won a Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. Parker was also honored with the Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her role in the role of Proof on Broadway.
